Well, this is my first blog entry ever. My name is Lindsay, and I am a student at ABC studying to be an elementary teacher. I am starting a blog mainly for a project for school, but I am interested in the many ways a blog can be used in the classroom. I want to be familiar with a blog and how it works before I use it in a future classroom.
I think I want to teach anywhere from grade 1 until grade 4. I love this age group. They are excited about life and learning, and they are usually willing to please. They bring an innocence back to the lives of those they touch. I am excited to see what grade God has for me in the future.

Glad to hear that you are interested in how a blog may be used in the classroom. The list is endless of ideas of how you can integrate them into any curriculum. It will be fun and exciting to see where God will lead you as you pursue your career in education. You are wise to be open to a wide range of grade levels because you never know where you may get your first job. Sometimes, you have to take what is available at the time. I definitely enjoyed my teaching experiences from 1st through 4th grades. Each grade offers its own rewards and challenges...but, it is all so much fun!

I am so glad we are going through this program together! I am excited as well about finding out how technology can help in the classroom! :) I think you're absolutely right about 1-4 grades the students are so eager to learn and be helpful! I'm praying for you!
Lindsay, I agree with you about wanting to work with the younger age levels, they do tend to have more of a zeal about learning then. I can see that you will enjoy working with this age group a lot.
